Brooklyn Hot Sauce was created by a passionate couple Eric and Jenni on one summer weekend in 2010 after finding a bounty of fresh chili peppers at a local farmers market. Jenni was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico and had been having constant cravings for the spicy food of her hometown. We set out to take the essence of those familiar flavors and craft our own sauce. We spent all day working in our small kitchen to create a truly unique combination of flavors. Working so intently we had forgotten about the evening pot luck dinner we had planned to attend. Out of options, we decided to bring a giant jar of sauce, still hot from the stove. It was a major hit! By the end of the night our friends were scraping the last of the sauce from the jar with leaves of lettuce. After that we were convinced we needed to share it with the world.
